Frequently Asked Questions for bridesmaid dress alteration prices Wedding Alterations: When to Book, Costs & What to Expect Black Velvet Embellished Gown Average cost for Size:8P Edinburgh

How can I choose shoes to wear with a skirt?

Simple flats can be an option for an understated outfit when they suit your comfort needs and the setting. Heels are optional for dressier styling; the whole outfit matters more than a requirement for extra height.

What should I consider when buying a wool or wool-blend skirt?

Consider the fabric weight independently of the fiber label. For secondhand garments, inspect the surface and seams carefully for damage.

What can I check if the elastic inside a skirt waistband twists?

Photograph the waistband before attempting any permanent change yourself. Consider whether the waistband size feels comfortable when correctly arranged.
